Martha Shepard
Chief, Business Operations
- Martha joins Kiernan Group Holdings, Inc. after a forty year career in government contracting at BAE Systems, Inc. and its legacy companies. She is the former vice president of contracts at BAE Systems, Inc. where she was responsible for the leadership and management of the contracts function, policy formulation, professional development and monitoring acquisition related regulatory activity.
- A seasoned professional, Martha has a wealth of experience in contracts, finance and business operations, subcontracts, and program management. She has a broad background in the international and domestic defense markets with work in major system development and production, product integration, real estate, security, and services.
- Martha holds a B.S. in Public Administration from Wheeling College (now Wheeling University), Wheeling, WV and a J.D. from Franklin Pierce Law Center (now University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law), Concord, NH. She is a long-time member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and currently serves on the NCMA Board of Advisors.
