Mark is a private sector security and investigate professional with nearly 35 years of experience as a Federal Agent as well as proven Executive-Corporate Leadership
- Prior to entering the private sector, Mark Sullivan was the Director of the United States Secret Service (USSS) beginning as an entry level field agent and ultimately serving in a variety of leadership roles in the organization for nearly 30 years. Mr. Sullivan led high impact initiatives in protective operations, protective intelligence and criminal investigations as well as, strategic planning, threat assessment and risk management, crisis management, human capital management, training, technology deployment, IT modernization and budget development and execution. As Director, he managed 7,000 Special Agents, Uniformed Division Officers, and Administrative, Professional and Technical staff members and oversaw an annual budget of $1.7 billion. During his tenure at the USSS, he was responsible for the protection of the President, Vice President, former Presidents and their families, other Government leaders and visiting Heads of State. Additionally, he was responsible for the security of three Presidential Campaigns and nine National Conventions, 22 National Special Security Events, and 10 United Nation General Assemblies. He also oversaw the investigative mission in the areas of cyber, counterfeiting, financial crimes and fraud.

His leadership and professional integrity at the Secret Service were recognized by numerous awards including two Distinguished Presidential Rank Awards, a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary’s Award and the Department’s Gold Medal for Distinguished Service.
Prior to becoming a Secret Service Special Agent Mr. Sullivan was a Special Agent with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of Inspector General for Investigations.
- In the private sector, Mr. Sullivan has worked with clients on a variety of domestic and international issues regarding cyber security, financial fraud, theft of intellectual property, background and misconduct investigations, business due diligence and major event security planning and execution. Mr. Sullivan has also conducted numerous threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments for sports venues, buildings, facilities and critical infrastructure. Mr. Sullivan also has provided consulting expertise in the areas of developing and evaluating corporate and private sector security programs, thought leadership, crisis management, continuity of business, workplace and school violence prevention, threat and risk management, security training and executive protection. Mr. Sullivan also chaired a panel of security experts, convened by the US Department of State, which was charged with identifying best security practices when operating in high threat areas.
- Mr. Sullivan serves on several Boards of Directors and Security/Safety Advisory Boards and maintains a Top-Secret Security Clearance.

Mr. Sullivan is a graduate of St. Anselm College, Manchester, NH, where he also holds an Honorary Doctorate Degree. He is a distinguished graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Harvard Kennedy School of Government Executive Leadership Program, and the Office of Personnel Management, Senior Executive Service Training Program.
