Training Services

Kiernan Group Holdings provides technical and analytical training for organizations seeking insight in to complex threats or access to proprietary software mastery. This training may either be developed by KGH or produced by a third-party vendor for subsequent facilitation by KGH.

We provide evaluation of emerging threats and existing issues to review, modify, or design curriculums and provide facilitation of training sessions for public and private entities. Our end-to-end training methodology involves diagnosing comprehensive problem sets, identifying qualified instructors, providing an exhaustive literature review and an evaluation of state-of-the-practice training curricula, generation of training material, and facilitation of training sessions.

An area of specialty is critical infrastructure protection to include analytic expertise on the vulnerabilities among and between the sectors in addition to being a DHS contractor for public-private active shooter workshops designed to educate and inform the citizenry, as a key to effective preparedness and resiliency.

KGH is a licensed i2 Analyst Notebook training provider, utilizing the software to provide both link analysis and Visual Investigative Analysis (VIA) of existing threats and trends. Our in-house trainers primarily train analysts and investigators in the civilian, law enforcement, and military sectors on the effective use of the Analyst's Notebook and the IBM/i2 iBase database product. These analysis tools allow the user to drill down into large data sets to uncover pertinent information and allow for a clear, visual presentation of the results.

The iBase product allows clients to create a custom database, which can be used as a stand-alone entity or integrated with Analyst's Notebook. Toward this end, KGH serves as an onsite resource for clients and provides consulting on database development and best practices. The instruction is delivered in a hands-on classroom environment or online.
