- Ms. Jewel Williams serves as Board Secretary for PWPORG.ORG, where she advances the organization’s mission to educate and empower communities through preparedness, awareness, and resilience. In this role, she provides disciplined financial oversight, ensures sound governance practices, and contributes to the strategic direction of the organization. She is also a contributing author to the Lucky the Preparedness Dog Activity Book series and serves as a narrator, helping bring educational content to life in ways that are engaging and accessible to diverse audiences. Guided by a deep commitment to service, she brings both compassion and creativity to her work. A devoted mother, grandmother, and philanthropist, Ms. Williams embodies the values of community, mentorship, and impact.
- Ms. Williams is equally dedicated to civic and community leadership. She serves as Journalist for the Prince George’s County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., where she thoughtfully documents and communicates the chapter’s programs and initiatives. A lifelong learner, she continues to expand her professional expertise, holding certifications as a Certified Capture Manager and in Google Artificial Intelligence.
- Professionally, Ms. Williams serves as Chief of Accounting at Kiernan Group Holdings, Inc., bringing over 30 years of progressive experience in corporate financial management and business operations. A Certified Public Accountant since 1989, she began her career with KPMG, where she developed foundational expertise in both audit and tax. She is widely recognized for her specialization in accounting for government contractors and her ability to drive strong financial performance while supporting organizational growth. Her leadership is marked by a disciplined, strategic approach and a capacity to successfully manage complex, multi-entity operations in fast-paced environments.

In her role at KGH, Ms. Williams oversees the full accounting lifecycle, including financial reporting, cash management, and receivables and payables functions. She leads the design and implementation of internal controls, financial policies, and systems that support forecasting, budget management, and long-term planning. Her financial insight equips executive leadership with the clarity needed to assess organizational performance and make informed, strategic decisions.
