We believe we each have an obligation to help others, and we all practice that as a core value in our professional and personal lives. We started a 501(c) (3) not for profit organization (www.pwporg.org) to provide educational resources for kids in the form of books and videos, initially related to active shooter awareness and prevention, and pivoted by need to develop resources related to COVID-19. Simple things can make a world of difference especially to kids, and especially when they know they have a voice and an opinion which matters. Helping Parents Navigate Through Uncertainty
The world continues to change in unexpected and mostly, unanticipated ways. Schools are intermittently closed; sports are canceled and about everything we understood and took for granted has changed. What has not changed is the need to have informed conversations about the threats to safety posed by a pandemic, forever known as COVID-19, and the need to have access to resources for parents that are easy to understand and easy to apply, through and after the pandemic. Parents With Preparedness (www.pwporg.org) is a deliberate step in that direction. Please use what you can and share widely.
