  • During his eight years in the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Gonzalez led multi-service, all-source intelligence analysis teams deployed to Afghanistan, Iraq, and other locations in support of special operations forces (SOF) fighting the Global War on Terrorism. His efforts helped lead to the capture of Saddam Hussein, the killings of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and Osama bin Laden, and the successful withdrawal of 50,000+ U.S. personnel from Iraq.
  • Mr. Gonzalez also served as a Criminal Intelligence Analyst with the Maryland State Police, assigned to the Maryland Coordination and Analysis Center.As a member of the Tactical Assistance Branch hesupported investigations into financial and wire fraud, hate- and bias-based incidents, narcotics trafficking, and organized crime and gangs.
  • Mr. Gonzalez is a recipient of the Joint Service Commendation Medal and the Army Achievement Medal, among numerous awards and honors. He is amember of professional organizations, such as ASIS International, Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals, and the Baltimore Council on Foreign Affairs.Mr. Gonzalez is completing his Master of Science in intelligence analysis at the Johns Hopkins University. His thesis examines U.S. Government responses to kidnapping for ransom events perpetrated by terrorist and criminal organizations. Mr. Gonzalez completed a Bachelor of Science in business, with honors, also from the Johns Hopkins University.
